Litter Coming Spring 2026 Sunny + Sutton
Copper Valley’s Sunny Blue and Liquid Moon Sutton
Meet the Parents
SUNNY
Sunny came to us as “Holly” from Rhoda Hurst of Copper Valley Farm in Virginia. The Sire is Sir Ladde Yukon of Piney- UKC A786,827, ESC-3077 and Dam is Copper Valley’s Glory Be Carly- ESC-6100. We had never had an English Shepherd and were wary of adopting and unknown breed with two small children. A friend was very familiar with the breed and impressed upon us the strength, loyalty and kindness of English Shepherds. So that is what we decided. Sunny is gentle and kind with our children often mistaking herself for our third child. She loves to play soccer, swim and cuddle with all of us. Recently, we gained a new family member, Kitty McTwitcher, AKA “Twitch”. He is a tuxedo cat that came to us through the woods of the Adirondacks and arrived emaciated, starving and so sweet. We believe Sunny helped lead him to us. Sunny is a loyal caretaker and playmate to Twitch as well.

SUTTON
Sutton was bred by April Holden, in Kentucky, to be a “FaRmily” dog (McMunn/Johnson x Green Mountain/Maplebrook). Sutton fits this purpose perfectly. Sutton works and loves, and he sometimes even plays. He is intelligent, healthy, athletic, determined, measured, and loving. We have a mix of open pastures, two ponds, a brook and woods. The house is in the center of the property on a dead-end road; the property is surrounded by similarly large lots, which adjoin to thousands of acres of wilderness. Needless to say, wildlife (both large and small) abounds. This land is dog heaven: no collars, no leashes, no traffic, just lots and lots of engagement.
